The treasure off of the bounty hunters from the previous encounter was fairly paltry (100cp) but it also included a map of a dungeon. Unfortunately the location of this dungeon map is not known, but a single clue is scrawled on the top: “To my Lord Addison.”
The party eats dinner (protection from poison) and then retires
In the morning they eat breakfast and begin talking to the fellow merchants
Captain Jopha also joins in the questions and seems to get suspicious when they talk about Templars
Jopha also says that this Templar was definitely a “rogue Templar” that was NOT affiliated with the city state of Ablath
Bones spots a piece of the tablet and they take it. (Gram wants these)
Klem finds out from the glass wares merchant more information about where to find Gram and regarding the tablets. The tablets contain some sort of forgotten language.
Conspiracy – Fort Amber, Fort Adros, City Altuaruk and the city/state of Ablath
Conspiracy – against the free state of Tyr
The Tyr conspiracy and the tablet mystery don’t seem to be related.
Gram is rumored to be near the city state of GULG.
One final thing from the merchant. Lord Addison, is from Altaruk.

Conan Interrogates the merchants.
Looks like the bounty hunters and muscle come from Fort Amber
Tablets are going to a scientist named Gram
They travel the 10 miles to Fort Amber
Fort Amber is a military outpost that is used as a vendor stronghold and a protective force for the area, especially those on the road to running from Fort Skonz to Altaruk Village.
The guards and such in the outpost don’t pay much attention to others, but them seem interested in Sprog. (should work with us)
A solid lead seems to be manifesting itself when Klem interrogates a merchant
Confusion ensues as no one knows who has the money
Klem talks to a vial/glass wares merchant and gets a solid lead. (Also for the tablets.)
The door inspection “scam” gets Bones and Conan into the main hall, where they meet Captain Jopha
Jopha has a very nice sword and scabbard and is commanding respect from his men
After some monkey business, The leader of the Fort Captain Jopha has offered the group (including Sprog) room and board for the evening.
Events on 03-19-2022:
They return to the “seedy merchant” camp
They begin looking for Alphonso, but everyone seems to be gone
After splitting up and searching the camp, they interrogate Sonny one of the merchants to see what is going on
A psionic Q&A session by Bones (zone of truth) reveals that there are people hiding in the camp
They are ambushed by a Templar, more bounty hunters with cilops and a bunch of half-giants
However the heroes defeat these forces and obtain their false credentials from Alphonso.
The party begins their trek to Fort Amber
Events on 03-13-2022:
**CONTINUED FROM LAST SESSION**
More zombies continued to pour into the main chamber, but our heroes stood their ground
After it was clear that the zombies were no match for them, a half-giant zombie lumbered into the hall- Finally all of the zombies were defeated and they searched the rest of the tomb.
Radiant attacks seemed to really do the trick on zombies
a chamber was discovered with the tablet and an Athasian Wraith
The wraith resisted many of the attacks, and it even started the drain the strength of Sprog and Conan
Once the wraith was dispatched, the tablet was recovered and the party are ready to return to the caravan of the seedy merchants
Events on 2-22-2022
Yalana sends the team to Alfonso (a shady merchant in the desert)
The team can get false credentials to make it appear that they aren’t slaves (bracelet and amulet)
Herra now has credentials that makes her a citizen of Altaruk (a city state)
Your mission (if you choose to accept it) is to continue to Fort Amber to uncover the conspiracy behind the Gith enslavement. (Vials)
They travel to the caravan to acquire more false credentials. (so they won’t be tracked as slaves)
Alphonso offers to provide fake IDs for the remaining members (except for Sprog) in exchange for the acquisition of a tablet from the temple to the north
When they arrive, the party sees zombies wandering outside the walls of the ziggurat / temple …. they are quickly dispatched.
Several zombies were slain in this session … but more can be seen in the shadows of the other rooms.
